Let the music play

Task Description:This term we have been working on a song in creative space about what we did this year we generated our song with gemini and then made a beat for them what was cool is that everyone did different types of music like rap pop and even country check on our blogs to see what all of us did.

French Music

 

Hello my name is Cullai and this term My class the year five and six extension have been researching music from all around the world come take a look on what I picked.Now if you did not read the title I am doing french music so before I did my song I had to research first like how the tempo and beat goes all the way to the unique instruments like the piano the violin and the flute.Now I did not tell you but this is not just any french music this is traditional french music so like a very long time ago.

 

After we were done with all of the learning about the music and instruments we were finally able to start to make our song as we started on garage band we mucked around a little just to test if it went with the music once we all found what we were looking for we started to really work on it as I found the perfect instruments left and right some of my friends were having a bit of trouble because they picked very complex country’s with not many known instruments as they found what they needed we all progressed to the next thing together.

 

once we were on the next thing Mrs Burton told us to make a google vids and put our music in there once we had put it in we then needed to decorate the page to look like France like french food french instruments and even french animals at least thats what I put.When we came the next week we learned that we could put our song in our blogs even without the google vids so when we were learning to do that I had to find my sound because I had forgot where I had saved it luckily Mrs Burton came to the rescue and found it somewhere in my inquiry.

 

Finally I then had to post it on my blog which was not that hard as soon as I started writing I realised that this would be to short so I then restarted and the turned it and broke it into paragraphs but I made sure I did four My intro My two middles and finally my conclusion.Over all this task was very fun and I really enjoyed it because of how fun it was to interact with different types of music outside of my comfort zone so overall I am very happy with my results.

 

The instruments that I used like the Hurdy Gurdy and the violin look very similar they both are string instruments hey both look a like and they are kind of played the same as well but the Hudy Gurdy has way more strings and to me the Hurdy gurdy sounds way better but the only problem is that I could not find it so I could not use it in my song.The piano is also a very popular instruments in France it is white and black and it sounds like many different keys plying at once you might think it would sound all mashed up but its actually very nice and sometimes soothing.

Immersion Recount

Task Description:Today we had an immersion recount and had to right about our assembly and on what we did.SMT. On a cold Monday morning me and my whole team went to the hall for an immersion assembly. As soon as we sat down we heard the new song for the new theme of the whole term. It sounded so good. We then looked up and a song from k-pop demon hunters started to play the song was called golden but a little bit before that Mr Wiseman told us about the new theme for the term and it was called let the music play.The song started playing and then we saw Mr Burt Mrs Nua and Mr J and they were wearing masks wigs and white clothes on them and they were dancing along. As soon as the song was done they came off the stage and then Mr Burt announced team one to come up on stage.

Team 1
We were all waiting and then the crowd went silent when their movie started to play. We then all looked up and saw all the team one teachers on the big screen and they were all talking about making scones with this new recipe that Mrs Hockly found she said we should make so they did.Then Mrs lau and another teacher was then making some batter for the scones she then was talking about how good they looked as they poured it into the mold for it. The camera then switches to Mrs Hockly washing dishes then they all come together and start to make music with the pots and pans they have in their hands.

Team 2
After that great movie Mr Burt came out once again to tell us what would be next he gave us a hint and then we all shouted out team two. It then showed more of the team two teachers on the screen and what they were learning about was how different types of music can make you feel about the scene like sad music would make you feel sad and happy would make you feel happy.Some music would be suspenseful and some would be emotional and what they were doing was on how different music can make you feel about different things.

Team 3
Once Mr Burt came out again we were all prepared for what was about to come and we were all excited for it was team three.The thing then fades and then it shows all of the teachers in team three they then stated to all the same movements with the cups it was loud but it was also satisfying to watch all those cups go in the same direction for very long it went up it went down they went side to side and they spined around it was so cool on how fast they did it as well.

Team 4
Once the movie ended Mr Burt came out once again but then he started talking. We waited for him to stop but just as we were about to lose interest he announced the best team. Team four the movie started and the whole movie was about a day in a life of a teacher it showed different times and different moods throughout the day like at 6:00 am they were happy and during class they were stressed and it was so funny at the end of the day because they wanted to hurry the students out right away.And then at the end they finally got to leave school.

Team 5
The movie ended and that was my favourite until Mr Wiseman came out and told us that they would pick year seven or eight students to go up against the teachers they listened to the music and tried to guess the music from the country they went head to head for ages until the last country the students then pressed their buzzers and then they got the question…RIGHT!!! They were happy because they had just won the prize lollies.

Term 3 Animation Taha Tinana

task description:This term we have been making an animation about our well-being in the first week we had to choose what we were going to pick I chose Taha Tinana because It was about your physical well being.

Immersion Recount

Task Description:Today we had to wright about the assembly we had on Monday.On one cold morning me and my friends played outside joyfully until the loud bell rang as we ran to class. We got to class and stepped inside to find the tables a little bit changed around. As me and my friends walk through the class we can see our desks just beside each other. We heard the bell ring once more and that was when we lined up just outside our classroom as we walked through the breeze towards the hall. Team One’s movie then played and their movie was about friendship and I really liked it because it was about lilo and stitch and how stitch went to friendship.Team two was about emotions and on how we all feel the like joy madness sad fear and disgust.Team three was about an emotion monster and on how she cant control her emotions.Then It was time for the best movie in my opinion team four the movie was about hauora and how all of the four walls matter and if one is missing your life could be unbalanced.Team fives movie was about a town that was always happy and perfect but then it started to be unbalanced and everything was falling apart but all they had to do was ask the community that lives in the town.
